Girls Night Party Games and Favors

Several years ago I unwittingly started a tradition among my 6 closest childhood friends & I (we are now 36 yrs old) when I hosted my first girl-get-together party for them.

I made special invitations with their grade school photos copied to the fronts & included specific & varied details in each that was later used for a game of memory challenge.

For the party I had made several different games all specified to focus on the 7 of us as friends.

• Trivia questions designed to be about the 7 of us only
  
• How well do you know your friend
  
• Every time someone says "friend" you get to take one of her pre-alotted stickers
  
• A race of how quickly you neatly paint the toenails of your friend (teammate)
  
• Identify each friends earliest baby pictures & more!

There were small prizes awarded for each winner of each game, such as nail polish, hand lotion, etc.

For food I fixed each of my 6 friends favorite appetizers as well as my own, for us all to share.

Each person was given a favor bag just for showing up, which consisted of each friends favorite candy & scented candles. I even decorated the living room with photos of my friends through the years all over my walls.

It was such a success that my friends decided we needed to do this approximately every 6 months or so in order to better keep in touch with each other & just enjoy some "girlfriends only" time.

To keep it fair & cost efficient to each person, we take turns & rotate who the next hostess is. That hostess then has the party at her house & can make it whatever theme she wants & with whatever games & rules she applies. We are going on our 15th party now & always get excited to see those invitations come in the mail!
