Girl Stuff, Issue #020 -- Ding Dong! Are You Ready for Halloween? In This Issue:
Halloween is right around the corner, but it's not too late to add some special touches to really make it memorable. You're never too old to dress up and pretend, so recreate yourself as a famous or fantasy diva. There's still time to get one of these stand out costumes or even to create your own. Family Feud is always a hit at parties, so why not add one to yours this Halloween. 100 people were surveyed to get the results for this Family Feud game. New surveys are posted throughout the year in order to create theme related games for other celebrations. All you have to do is select your hiding locations, level of difficulty, and clue backgrounds and you're ready to go. This is excellent for teachers, moms, party hosts and more. It would even be fun to host an outdoor hunt for your neighborhood children to find their treats this year. The possibilities are limitless and the number of different games you can create is too! For those on a really strict budget this year, I also have a FREE printable rhyming Halloween clue hunt, or a Goodie Bag Clue Hunt available for immediate download. Just print and play. ********************************************************* I came across this amazing Halloween "treat" recently and you just have to see these edible witch fingers. Talk about adding a showstopper or conversation starter to your Halloween party. These "innocent" shortbread cookies will do just that. Guaranteed! I LOVE this! It's one of those things that made me say WOW when I saw it! Side Note: If you're hosting a movie themed Halloween party for kids, these popcorn cupcakes are SO creative and easy to make. ********************************************************* Turn the lights down low and add a little spooky background instrumental music. Oh... and be sure to have a dramatic friend read the story to make it even more fun. Gift passing games are always a hit, but it would be especially memorable to wrap both "tricks" and "treats" to play this hauntingly unpredictable Halloween game. No one loses because gag gifts are often more fun then treats even. I also LOVE this Ding Dong the Witch Is...? trivia game for adult Halloween parties. ********************************************************* If you've ever entertained the idea of starting your own online business, there's an excellent Facebook - Youtube live Q&A coming up this Wednesday evening with the owner of a very successful Kids Party Site. I've had the opportunity to meet Elad, and trust me... you can learn a lot about business and creating more time for family and what matters in life from him. It's your chance to check out the possibilities without any commitment. If nothing else, you'll discover some great kids' party ideas and you can never get enough of those. ********************************************************* Chat with me and get updates on new games and ideas added to Diva Girl Parties and Stuff by Following Me on Twitter or LIKE-ing my Diva Girl Parties and Stuff Facebook Fan page.
