Mickey and Minnie Birthday Party Costumes

I went to an 11th birthday Disney party for my friend Christian and his twin sister Alex. They didn't have a theme for their party at first, but then they came up with a Disney theme.

We had to come dressed as a Disney character, but they chose which one because they didn't want to land up with 2 Tinkerbells or anything. They dressed up as Mickey and Minnie.

The invitations were red and had the character we had to show up as printed on the front. I was supposed to be Jasmine because they said I looked like her, so I went to a local party dress up store and found the exact one.

When we got to the party, their mom was dressed as Cinderella and she had a sketch book of all the characters. When she would see us she would give us a pass that said our name. She would also go through the book and when she saw our character she would check it off.

The pass she gave us was gold and had the name of our character on it and noted the location to meet Mickey and Minnie. She was standing on the front porch. When you entered there was all different Disney stuff.

I had gotten my make-up and hair done really nice. Along the banister there were Mickey Mouse ears they ordered from the internet and they had our real names on the back.

We went downstairs in their basement where there was a long table with food and there was music.

My best friend Claudia was Tinkerbell and we went to go grab some snacks. We ate Mickey Mouse shaped cupcakes and cookies with pizza.

The birthday twins looked so cute in their outfits. They were both turning 11.

We got to dance a bit and we had to put on a reality show called "Disney in Reality" so they gave us lines to practice.

We used their livingroom and kitchen as the backgrounds. Their dad filmed us and it was fun because at one point I broke my leg and the magic carpet did not come so Mickey had to carry me instead.

After the show we had cake that was 3 stories high and at the top was Mickey and Minnie figurines. On the other 2 stories there was us, the ones who came.

The goodie bags were so cool because they included a copy of the reality show that we did in a case like it was really a movie. Our names were in the subtitles at the end. I had tons of fun and I watch the show all the time.
