Christmas Eve Tradition

by Carole Krause
(Independence, OH)

We have our Christmas Party on Christmas Eve - we have our gift exchange and since my Birthday is on Christmas Day we celebrate - And, after all the gifts are unwrapped and the candles blown the grandkids, all twelve of the, unwrap the christmas theme pajamas I've made for them - they usually change and then jump on the couch and listen to their Grandpa read "The Night Before Christmas" - It's great to watch our grown children listen and remember when we did this for them. We celebrated our 50th Anniversay -so you know how long our tradition has been going on.

Traditions That Last....
by: diane

I think this is a beautiful thing that you do, and I'm sure it's a tradition that will continue through the years.

This will be the second Christmas without my parents and reading things like this always make me remember how special it was being with them. Because of them, I share many many traditions with my own kids that I know will live on for years to come.
